1. My very organised packing! 2. Bye snowy Ireland 3. Toffee Nut Latte's and a giant cookie to share with my friend Stacey in Starbucks 4. We dyed my hair lavender.. It was a good idea at the time 5. Me and my friend Kathy at Warehouse Project 6. Bicep at Warehouse Project, too much dancing 7. Strawberry Mojitos and a Bubblegum Daquiri, so good! 8. Dinner at The Alchemist 9. My lavender locks before it started to fade, RIP 10. A real mature game of hungover Scrabble

Oh dear, i've not posted again in a couple of weeks.. It's so easy to let things get in the way! I'm going to use my spontaneous trip to Manchester to visit some friends as an excuse. I had such an amazing time and absolutely loved Manchester. There are so many lovely little bars and places to go, in particular i loved The Deaf Institute; We went for lunch and to the vintage fair that was on upstairs but ended up staying most of the day for x number of day drinks, woops! On Thursday night we went to The Alchemist for some dinner and cocktails and it was just lovely, their cocktail menu is pretty unbelievable i could have ditched the dinner and just sat trying them all out all night. On Friday we went shopping and stopped off in Starbucks for Toffee Nut Lattes and halved a gigantic cookie, it was literally the size of my head, in our defense our stomachs needed a bit of extra lining for Warehouse Project that night! I wasn't a huge fan of the lineup but it was a fab night nonetheless. On Saturday night we went to my friend Steves flat for a few drinks, on to Hulu for some £9 cocktails (which were on fire - worth it) and The Soup Kitchen (this bar actually looks and smells like a soup kitchen haha) and back to the flat again for a sneaky after party. I had such a good time but I've been tucked up in bed with a serious flu for the past couple of days since i came home, feeling completely sorry for myself!

..Another Moroccan Oil Review

Moroccan Oil Treatment* £12.85 at Look Fantastic (Click here to purchase)

I know, I know.. another one. I've honestly read so many reviews on Moroccan Oil I probably didn't need to use up half the bottle before writing up a decent review of my own! One thing i've gathered though, among the masses of beauty bloggers chipping in their two cents on this product online, is that I fail to remember reading a single negative comment. I was so excited to receive this 25ml bottle to review, as i'd been planning on splashing the big 3-0 in Boots for a full size bottle; Which is safe to say i''ll be doing as soon as this little one runs out. Given it's compact size, this has lasted a couple of months now and i've used it a few times a week on my relatively long locks! What i love most about this product is how delicious the smell is; a sweet scent, but not overbearingly so. After washing my hair i apply a few drops, focusing mainly on the ends, and blow-dry my hair. I will vouch for the claim that it decreases drying time as i have definitely noticed this, and the less heat abuse on hair the better so this can only be a good thing. When my hair is dried and straightened it feels soft, and looks shiny. My hair is naturally quite dry, thick and a little brittle thanks to continued dying, but Moroccan Oil completely masks its imperfections leaving my hair appearing healthy and sleek.. Hurray! Such a product actually exists!

Distressed Black Faux Leather Skater Skirt - Urban Outfitters
Chelsea Block Heel Ankle Boots - Ebay
Spike Earrings - Asos
Casio Watch - Amazon

I wore this to the cinema last night to see Gangster Squad with my bf. There are so many good films out at the moment, I've been a complete film nerd over the past couple of weeks as I've been trying to do a bit of a January detox after all the social Christmas tipples! If you haven't seen Seven Psychopaths, Django Unchained or Gangster Squad then DO IT NOW, LIKE RIGHT NOW.

You have to love the Urban Outfitters sales! I'm not a huge sale shopper because a) It's mostly junk and b) I'm not very patient! But i always manage to snap a few things up from Urban Outfitters. There are some lovely silver studding and embellishments on the blouse which made me fall in love with it, long live the stud trend as far as i'm concerned. I got my boots in an Ebay store for like £20?! You can't really see them in these photos but if you take a peak to the right side of my blog my instagram feed has a pretty decent picture! I can dig out the link for them from my purchase history on Ebay if anyone is interested.

10 Commandments of 2013

Images from Tumblr and Pinterest

Better late than never! These are my new years resolutions of 2013; some more serious than others, and some are just old habbits that need knocked on the head. I've already made some headway.. I made my bed a mere hour after leaving it this morning, which is pretty impressive stuff. I've also started a strict diet today to hopefully shed the X number of pounds piled on over winter. I'm going to blame the torrential rain and ridiculous amounts of chocolates at home over Christmas! Now that the weather has gone quite mild i'll be dusting down my running shoes, which truth be told rarely seen the light of day in 2012, and getting back to normal in no time. I managed to take an hour and a half out of my day yesterday to go for a long walk to start myself off again!

Hope you're having some luck with your resolutions too!

Miricle Skincare Combo from Rodial!

Rodial Dragon's Blood Cleansing Water (£25.00) and Hyaluronic Tonic (£29.00)*

If there is one product, and in this case a product duo, to rave about discovering this year it would have to be the Dragon's Blood cleanser and toner by Rodial. I never thought i'd actually enjoy removing the full face of makeup still intact after a night out or a long day, but i stand not only corrected but addicted too!

Rodial Dragon's Blood Cleansing Water is a water-based formula enriched with refreshing rose water to melt away the makeup and impurities the day can inflict. It is applied to the skin with a cotton pad, or those divine new Kleenex Facial Cloths in my case; The formula feels cool, soothing and refreshing. Even the most stubborn of mascara glides off the lashes easily and gently, which is a first for me as i'm usually left rubbing my eyes until they're bright red, covered in  smudged mascara and looking absolutely stunning obviously.. Not only does it remove makeup and cleanse so efficiently, it does so without any irritation whatsoever, which is a major factor for me when choosing a cleanser as i have very sensitive eyes. The appearance of the skin after use is bright, illuminated and clean, which is likely thanks to the 'Dragon's Blood' ingrediant.. No fire breathing friends were hurt in the making of Rodial toners and cleansers, it is an aptly named red sap from the Sangre De Drago tree, which all sounds pretty nifty. This ingrediant is said to calm stressed skin, while partnering ingredient Vitamin B3 neutralizes and tones skin for an even and bright complexion.

Rodial Dragons Blood Hyaluronic Tonic is an innovative spritz toner which revives and refreshes skin for a toned and even skin base; A multi-purpose product perfect for setting the skin up for a day without the aggressiveness of makeup, or to create the perfect toned and even base for makeup application. The Vitamin B and zinc present in the spray formula ensure the skin is refreshed and deeply hydrated while also decreasing the visibility of pores - something i had come to accept was practically impossible from any skincare product!

These products are probably my favorite discovery of 2012, not only because of how effective and visible the results are, but also because they genuinely feel like they are worth every penny they cost, something which a lot of high end skincare products lack is that feeling of justification for spending an extra few bucks, but i will definitely be re-purchasing these!
